Designed for The Burns Brothers, Kata DC is a dynamic hospitality destination that fuses contemporary dining with immersive nightlife experiences. Drummond Projects conceived a layered spatial experience, balancing intimate dining areas, elevated lounges, and a VIP/Lux bar, each defined by its own atmosphere and program.

From materiality to lighting, the design emphasizes tactile richness and visual drama: warm wood tones, polished metals, and textured surfaces create a refined yet approachable environment, while custom lighting installations sculpt the mood of each space—highlighting architectural details, guiding circulation, and accentuating the interplay of transparency and reflection throughout the venue. Furniture, finishes, and fixtures were thoughtfully selected to reinforce the narrative of elevated hospitality, blending modern sophistication with cultural resonance.
